Nature helps reduce stress, anxiety, grief and depression. It also improves mood, boosts self-esteem, and increases focus. Nature can be a soothing and calming environment that helps people connect with the natural world. Animals can help people feel safer, build confidence, and develop empathy. They can also help people learn appropriate behaviours and social skills. Animals provide unconditional acceptance and communicate in ways that people understand. They can also help people build relationships with the animals and the therapist. Play can be used to enhance the therapeutic process and help clients face difficult work. These two approaches are often used as complementary approaches to traditional therapy methods. That is why I have made these approaches available to people, because I know that they work and I love to help other people gain the benefits of these two modalities as well.
